Christmas is an amazing time of year but for some you either embrace if whole heartedly (I’m looking at you “Can I put my tree up yet it’s October?” people) or you have to be dragged to Aunty Pat’s kicking and screaming. Whatever way you want to live through it, you might as well do it with style!
Here at Turtle and Wolf we have designed and created what we think to be a diverse range of Christmas earring, from the OMG It’s Christmas be loud and proud earrings to the very subtle I want to be Christmassy but what would be suitable to wear to midnight mass? style of earrings. Our range also varies in style to also suit your Christmas “comfort” level.
Starting with the smaller size studs we have 4 little cute Christmas tree designs at only 18mm in length, little red bows at approx. 13mm long and some jingle bells to 14mm. Although they may be small, they make up for this in sparkle and glitter.
In our medium size range (approx. 35mm long) we have some more hanging stud jingle bells in gold glitter but with 2 different coloured topper options. One of my favourites this year are our etched snowflakes (approx. 40mm long), again they come with 2 different topper colour options but what I love the most is the delicate details of the snowflake encased in the clear acrylic, very beautiful.
We then move into our Shepherds hook dangle range where less is more with these simple pairs. We have type colours of our take on the Christmas baubles, simple stripes etched into clear acrylic circles; 1 in the traditional Green, Red & Gold and then a more modern palette of Pink, Pale Green and Silver. They hang at a length of 50mm. These are great if you don’t want to be obviously wearing your Christmas cheer on your ears.
Flowing on in the subtle style are what I think of as the more conservative Christmas Mass drop pearls, just over 40mm in length. Again, created on a Shepherds hook finding (in either Silver plate or Gold plate), these gorgeous little green and white pearl drops could be worn all year round.
For those wanting to wear your Christmas Spirit on your ears loud and proud we have an assortment of designs to suit you, from surgical steel stud styles to drop Shepherds hooks. This selection includes classy dress up style dangle beads in Gold, Green and Reds (43mm to 53mm), Mirrored Angels in Gold or Silver (57mm), a collection “Ohh La La” glitter Christmas Trees (55mm) which come in a lovely variety of colours.
The piece de resistance of the collection for me is the Green glitter wreath with the Red pearl bow. The combination of these 2 striking colours and textures really sits well in my eyes. It is the showstopper and a special something for those who want to yell “Merry Christmas” to everyone they meet for the month of December. These have been created on a simple gold-plated Shepherds hook to allow the wreath to be the main feature, they hand at a length of approx. 68 mm from top of hook to the bottom of the bow point and can be wore everyday in December or just on the big day itself.
